NFPA Visits Members and Prospects at ICUEE 2017

Last week, my colleague Pete Alles and I had a little roadtrip down to Louisville, Kentucky for the 2017 International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition to walk the show floor to say hi to our exhibiting members as well as get to know some membership prospects.

NFPA membership on display in the Texas Hydraulics booth at ICUEE 2017.

The biennial trade show attracted nearly 18,000 attendees from across the globe and featured exhibits, product demos, and a test drive area. This was our first time making an appearance at the show, but many of our members have been exhibiting at the show for years, and we were happy to see NFPA member plaques and logos on display in many of our members’ booths. Fluid power definitely had a very strong presence at this show for utility and construction equipment, products, and technologies, whether on display in booths or on the displayed machinery itself. This prevalence made it a great opportunity to see member products on display and in action as well as hear more from individual members about the value they see in participating in trade shows like ICUEE and IFPE.

Thank you to all of the member companies and prospects we visited for being so welcoming. We hope you had a successful show!
