NFPA Visits Hunt Valve

Hunt Valve LogoOn the way to a presentation on fluid power at a National Tooling & Machining Association event, I had the opportunity to visit Hunt Valve. Located in Salem, Ohio, Hunt Valve is one of NFPA’s newest members, having joined in March 2017. Hunt Valve specializes in severe-duty valves for applications that include primary metals, process, and energy industries. Hunt also has a long history as a supplier of valves to the U.S. Navy for use onboard nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, including the next generation carriers soon in production. During the visit, I provided an overview of NFPA’s mission and strategic goals, as well as some key services. Thanks to Dale Carrick, Vice President of Business Development, and Mickey Heestand, Vice President and Senior Mechanical Engineer, for their hospitality.
