As part of National Manufacturing Day celebrations, on October 11, NFPA member, Festo, opened their doors and had a huge turn out with over 180 guests comprised of Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, FIRST Robotics Teams, college students, and many others. The guests had the opportunity to tour Festo facilities, enjoy a BBQ lunch and learn more about the job opportunities available in the manufacturing industry on Long Island, NY. Read more.
National Manufacturing Day was created by Fabricators and Manufacturers Association two years ago to promote careers the manufacturing industry has to offer.
