NFPA Members Receive Manufacturing Institute STEP Award for Second Consecutive Year

Astrid Mozes, Eaton Corp. Hydraulics OperationsAstrid Mozes, chief technology officer of Eaton’s hydraulics group, is one of the 2015 Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Award honorees. MI’s STEP award honors women who demonstrate excellence in management and manufacturing, from the factory floor to the C-suite. MI describes its goal as “honoring and promoting the role of women in the manufacturing industry through recognition, research and leadership” and to “inspire next-generation female leaders to pursue a career in manufacturing, showcasing the amazing opportunities the manufacturing industry can offer.”

Judy WojanisAnd, in 2014, NFPA was proud to nominate Judy Wojanis, former President of Wojanis Supply Company Inc., for this award and she too was an honored recipient.

NFPA is delighted to have both Mozes and Wojanis recognized for their contributions to the fluid power industry and the entire U.S. manufacturing sector.
