NFPA Company Profiles for NFPA News
With NFPA membership at an all-time high, publishing a short profile of an NFPA member each week is one way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is WIKA Instrument Corporation
For 70 years, WIKA Instruments has continually advanced pressure and temperature measurement instrumentation. WIKA annually produces more than 43 million pressure gauges, pressure transmitters and thermometers worldwide. With just under 600 employees in the US alone, plus engineering centers and factories in Germany, Brazil, China, India, Canada, Switzerland and South Africa, WIKA is a significant global presence within the instrumentation sector. WIKA Instruments joined NFPA in early 2014 and has sent representatives to both the NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference and most recently, the NFPA 2015 Annual Conference. They are long-time IFPE exhibitors and their instruments are seen on systems throughout the IFPE and CON-EXPO/CON-AG show.
