NFPA Member Company Profile: Veljan Hydrair Limited

We regularly publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Veljan Hydrair Limited.

VeljanVeljan Hydrair Limited, established in 1965, is a pioneering fluid power company in India.  And although many NFPA member companies have facilities in India, Veljan is the only NFPA manufacturing member headquartered in India. Their facilities are located in and near Hyderabad.  The company’s manufacturing plants in India are ISO-9001 certified and offer hydraulic vane/piston pumps, vane motors, cylinders, accumulators, valves (directional, pressure and flow control, check, quick exhaust, shuttle), power units and pneumatic cylinders, rotary actuators, FRLs, mufflers, bench presses and control systems.  Veljan product applications can be found in ship building plus the energy, mobile and industrial markets.  Veljan’s group company VELJAN DENISON LIMITED manufactures pumps, motors, valves and custom-built power systems / manifold blocks.  NFPA members since 2003, Veljan’s leadership has attended many NFPA conferences held in the U.S. and has a significant presence at each IFPE trade show.
