NFPA Member Company Profile: Scott Industrial Systems

We regularly publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Scott Industrial Systems.

Scott Industrial Systems logoBeginning in 1948 and founded by Roger L. Scott, Scott Industrial Systems is a full-line fluid power distributor with headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. They have invested over six decades into their development as a fluid power source and cover Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The company serves both the mobile and industrial markets and has continuously grown and evolved. Scott Industrial recently added 18,000 square feet to their systems build area, increasing their assembly and warehouse capacity. They have also doubled their engineering staff and added an engineering lab. In 2016, Scott Industrial acquired Engineered Fluid Power Products in Schaumburg, Illinois, giving them the opportunity to expand their presence in the Midwest. Joining NFPA in 2012, Scott has been active in association events, sending multiple representatives to both the Annual Conference and the Industry and Economic Outlook Conference. Scott Industrial Systems also regularly participates in NFPA’s Distributor State of the Fluid Power Industry monthly survey.
