With NFPA membership at an all-time high, publishing a short profile of an NFPA member each week is one way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Honeywell Sensing and Control.

Honeywell logoJoining NFPA in August of 2014, Honeywell Sensing and Control, is a relative newcomer to NFPA, but definitely not to manufacturing. Honeywell Corporation was founded 125 years ago in 1885 with Albert Butz’s invention of a furnace regulator and alarm. Today, Honeywell Sensing and Control, offers more than 50,000 products ranging from snap action, limit, toggle and pressure switches to position, speed and airflow sensors. During a recent visit to their Golden Lake Minnesota headquarters, NFPA Market Information Services and the upcoming NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference were cited as important member benefits they look forward to utilizing.
