NFPA Member Company Profile: Cummins Filtration Inc.

Each week we publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Cummins Filtration Inc.

Cummins FiltrationCummins Filtration Inc. has been an NFPA member since 1974—over 40 years!  Throughout their years of membership, the company has been a staunch supporter of NFPA’s work on industry standards both in the U.S. and internationally.  Dr. Barry Verdegan of Cummins Filtration currently chairs the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to the contamination control subcommittee and has been nominated to chair the International Standards Organization subcommittee on contamination control.  In addition, other Cummins’ representatives have also served on technical committees.  Cummins Filtration Inc. designs, manufactures and sells heavy-duty air, fuel, hydraulic and lube filtration, chemicals and exhaust system technology products for diesel and gas-powered equipment around the world. Cummins serves its customers through its network of 600 company-owned and independent distributor facilities and more than 7,200 dealer locations in over 190 countries and territories.  Fluid flow ranges from 1 to 1,000 gpm and contaminant removal efficiency from 1 µ synthetic filter media to 100 mesh screen.
