Each week we publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Balflex Portugal.
NFPA has a solid group of long-time member companies that are categorized as International Members. These companies serve US and global customers but do not manufacture in NAFTA countries. Together with NAFTA-based NFPA members, International Members are committed to the fluid power industry and mission of NFPA. One such member is Balflex Portugal, which has been a member since 1995. Balflex Portugal – Components Hidraulicos e Industrials, SA, is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of hydraulic hose and fittings. Its products consist of hydraulic hose according to SAE, DIN or ISO standards, over 8000 different types of hydraulic hose fittings and adapters according to DIN/SAE/JIS or ISO, hydraulic quick-release couplings, and PTFE and stainless steel hose assemblies. Their products can be found in fluid power applications in industries such as mining, agriculture, off-shore and construction. Balflex also exhibits at each IFPE show and will again be present for IFPE 2017.
