Each week we publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Baldwin Filters.
Baldwin Filters Inc., based in Kearney, Nebraska, manufactures a large variety of heavy-duty filters—air, oil, fuel, hydraulic, coolant and transmission—used in over-the-road commercial vehicles; off-road construction, mining and logging equipment; and industrial, agricultural and marine applications. The company was founded in 1936 by J.A. Baldwin and has since expanded exponentially with global facilities in the United Kingdom, Europe, China, Mexico and Morocco. An NFPA member since 1997, Baldwin Filters supports both the Association and the NFPA Education and Technology Foundation.
