Kaman Corporation announced that its Distribution Segment, Kaman Distribution Group (Kaman), has executed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the operating assets of B.W. Rogers Company and certain affiliated entities (collectively, B.W. Rogers). The acquisition significantly expands Kaman’s footprint in both fluid power and automation. The transaction is expected to close early in the second quarter.

Price Engineering Company, Inc. announced it has attained ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system. The certification extends to all Price operations and subsidiaries.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) publishes the global ISO 9001:2008 standard. Compliance with the standard through the certification process demonstrates Price’s adherence to practices and procedures designed to ensure the consistent quality of products and services it delivers. It also signifies the company’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through continuous improvement practices.

Scott Schiller

Tobul Accumulator Inc. announced the addition of Scott Schiller to the newly created position of Field Sales & Service Engineer, assuming overall responsibilities for Sales & Service for Industrial/Fluid Power Distributors & Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Scott Schiller holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electromechanical Technologies from Gateway Technical College. Schiller is pursuing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

William Wolsky

In Memoriam

William (Bill) James Wolsky, a long time employee of Norgren, died March 8, 2014 at the age of 75. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Pharmacology and later completed his MBA of Finance at Regis University. Bill retired as President and Chief Executive Officer for IMI Norgren, USA after 31 years, and was responsible for multiple sites and people around the world. He lit a lot of candles along the way, making IMI Norgren a brighter place to work. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and participating in outdoor sports, particularly golf and fishing.
