The NFPA Innovation Awards were developed by the NFPA Marketing Committee as an industry-wide promotion to recognize “new, emerging or interesting applications of fluid power that demonstrate fluid power’s competitive advantages.” The goal of the program continues to be to increase the visibility of fluid power.
In 2014 we are opening up the award nomination process to the readers of the Power2Move community — where they will get the chance to vote on the technologies they feel are truly innovative.
NFPA members are encouraged to invite engineers in their customer markets to submit innovative fluid power examples in any of the customer markets they serve. Help your customer engineers and technicians who have used fluid power to:
• Increase energy efficiency;
• Improve reliability;
• Reduce system size while maintaining or increasing power output;
• Reduce environmental impact;
• Improve and apply energy storage, recovery
and redeployment capabilities
by encouraging them to apply.
Winners of the 2014 Innovation Awards will be selected by crowdsourcing the design engineer readers of the Power2Move community.
