NFPA Founding Member Company Profile: Ingersoll Rand

Each week we publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. This week we focus on one of our very first members—Ingersoll Rand.

ARO, a global manufacturer of fluid management equipment, and a strategic brand of Ingersoll Rand, was the 12^th company to join NFPA with an official starting membership date of May 19, 1953—63 years of NFPA membership!  In addition, ARO recently marked its 85^th anniversary.  Their fluid power products include: air preparation devices, such as filters, regulators and lubricators, plus pneumatic valves, cylinders and logic controls providing integrated solutions.  ARO pneumatic valves and cylinders can be found in most production applications, and ARO logic controls are used in the design and installation of sequential control for production processes.  The company participates in many of NFPA’s Market Information Services including the Customer Market Survey and Confidential Shipment Statistics Report.
