With NFPA membership at an all-time high, publishing a short profile of an NFPA member each week is one way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Yates Industries, Inc.

yates-industries-logoAn NFPA member since 2004, Yates Industries, Inc. was founded in 1972 by William H. Yates II, and remains a family-owned business. Headquartered in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the company has achieved strong growth throughout and recently set up new operations in Atlanta, Georgia. Yates Industries, Inc., manufactures cylinders from 250 air to 5000 hydraulic, with 24 mounting styles and 1.5″ – 20″ bores. It provides cylinders with prox, reed, hall effect or LDTs, as well as mill cylinders, stainless steel, adjustable strokes and specials per customer specs. Yates Industries, Inc. also has a large repair facility in the Midwest for all makes and models up to 65″.  Yates Industries has been a strong supporter of NFPA attending NFPA’s Detroit Regional Meeting, the Industry and Economic Outlook Conference and Annual Conference. In fact, Yates Industries is the sole sponsor of the NFPA Mobile Conference App at both the IEOC and Annual Conference. We appreciate their contributions.
