With NFPA membership at an all-time high, publishing a short profile of an NFPA member each week is one way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Rosenboom Machine & Tool, (RM&T).
Rosenboom Machine & Tool, (RM&T) with Headquarters in Sheldon, Iowa and US manufacturing facilities in Spirit Lake, Iowa and Bowling Green, OH, manufacturers hydraulic cylinders for the agriculture and construction industries. Lary and Viv Rosenboom founded the company in 1974 as a small machine shop and has grown into an internationally known manufacturer of custom hydraulic cylinders and remains a family-owned company. A partial list of end-use industries Rosenboom serves includes: aerial, construction, refuse and waste handling, transportation, agriculture, material handling and renewable energy. Rosenboom representatives are regular NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference attendees and participate in all NFPA statistical programs. Rosenboom also has a significant presence at IFPE.
