NFPA 2017 Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament Scores at New Location

Despite, or perhaps because of, a last-minute course change, the 2017 NFPA Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament was a great success. When a deluge of rain forced the Chevy Chase Golf Club in Wheeling to close for the entire month of August, Glenview Park Golf Club welcomed NFPA with a course in beautiful condition and a staff willing to make it work. The winning foursome of Arlin Perry, Comer Industries; Scott Tatman, Acme Foundry; Rob Wuertz, OEM Controls; and Paul Burns, Sapa Extrusions, can attest that it was great way to start out the NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference. Over 100 golfers filled the fairways and over $10,000 was raised for the NFPA Education and Technology Foundation. In addition to the golfers, a big thank you to all of the sponsors who helped reach this donation amount. You can see a list of the sponsors and some great photos from the day on the tournament recap page.
