STEM Students Learn About Fluid Power Careers

STEM classes

On February 10, 2014, NFPA member, Tom Price, Jr., President of Price Engineering in Hartland, WI spoke to fifty 7th and 8th graders involved in STEM classes at North Lake School. Tom talked about his career and engineering careers, Price Engineering projects, and demonstrated hydraulics with a syringe. He fielded questions  from students about his education and what a typical day at work is like for him. He stressed that he doesn’t sit at a desk constantly and that engineering is all about collaboration.
