NFPA Milwaukee Regional Next Week—Friday, September 7—Register Now

Past attendees of NFPA Regional Meetings understand the quality of networking and programming these meetings offer in a compact and casual structure, and for those who have not attended a Regional Meeting, now’s the time!  The NFPA 2018 Milwaukee Regional Meeting is scheduled over lunch on Friday, September 7, and will meet at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Milwaukee (the hotel has a convenient underground parking structure too). Members and non-members alike are invited, plus all NFPA Regional Meetings are FREE!

The Regional Meeting presentation, Robotics in Manufacturing & Distribution: Collaboration, Communication & Creating the Future Workforce, will feature two speakers who are preparing students to keep pace with industrial automation and robotics technology while also partnering with companies using these systems. Thomas P. Heraly, Instructional Chair, Electronics Department, School of Technology and Applied Sciences – Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Mike Shiels, Dean, School of Applied Technologies—Waukesha County Technical College will share their work and experiences in this rapidly changing field.

Plus, the 2018 NFPA Milwaukee Regional Meeting will extend the technology focus of the co-located morning Fluid Power Industrial Consortium (FPIC) Seminar, which is also open to all NFPA members but NOT a prerequisite to attending the Regional Meeting.

The Regional Meeting schedule starts at 11:30 am and will finish by 2:00 pm:

  • 11:30 am—Arrival for those not attending FPIC
  • Noon—Combined lunch with FPIC attendees
  • 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm—Regional Meeting Program
