NFPA’s workforce team traveled to Dallas, TX for the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association’s 79th Annual Conference. This was a great opportunity for the NFPA’s fluid power workforce development and education initiatives to get in front of 1,500 educators and decision makers at the STEM Showcase. We were able to inform them about our Fluid Power Action Challenge, Student Career Connections, and our grants that assist in implementing fluid power curriculum. Students at Purdue University created a demonstrator that drew a lot of attention and helped display the creativity that can come from engineering by design.
