NFPA Announces Call for Proposals on Fluid Power Curriculum Development

The National Fluid Power Association’s Education and Technology Foundation has announced funding availability for fluid power course modules and curriculum development for university level students.  Faculty from U.S. colleges and universities with undergraduate mechanical engineering programs are invited to apply for the NFPA Fluid Power Curriculum Grants Program.

The program objective is to create awareness and engage students in fluid power; engage faculty in the development and teaching of fluid power; and to develop, replicate and disseminate high-quality, high-impact university-level fluid power curriculum.

Two $25,000 grants will be awarded among the following curriculum tracks:

  • Infuse Fluid Power into Core Curriculum
  • University Fluid Power Test-Stand
  • Innovative Education Model
