What happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily need to stay in Vegas. The word is out – NFPA, Vanderbilt University, and the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) made a second appearance this year before the advanced processing and packaging machine builders – this time in the central hall of the Las Vegas Convention.
Last week, the “Future of Pneumatics” exhibit, staffed by NFPA representatives as well as CCEFP students and educators who have helped to develop the innovations, highlighted three research breakthroughs relevant to the packaging and process technologies. The exhibit gave close to 100 end-users a meaningful glimpse into the future of pneumatic technology. The research projects on hand included:
Plans are already underway for PACK EXPO International and Pharma EXPO to be held November 6-9, 2016 at the McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. NFPA will continue to bring these types of exhibits to other shows in the future—each showcasing the future potential of fluid power technology to one of our core customer audiences.
