MSOE Holds Ninth Fluid Power Action Challenge

Fluid Power Action Challenges continue to be a popular tradition for some of our educational partners and committed company members. Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) successfully organized and ran their 2016 Fluid Power Action Challenge on November 7.  This was MSOE’s 9th challenge! This year they had 41 teams competing, which added up to about 164 middle school students building their own fluid power mechanisms to move objects from one location to another.

We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the NFPA member companies that were involved as sponsors/judges: HUSCO, FORCE America, Poclain Hydraulics, Price Engineering, Bosch Rexroth, Sun Hydraulics and Thomas Magnete.

This Challenge was a great opportunity for NFPA and industry members to reach out to more schools and teachers. We are hoping to collaborate with many of them to provide resources and teach more fluid power.
