The most recent NFPA member visit road trip wasn’t much of a road trip at all. Located just south of our Milwaukee offices, Galland Henning Nopak opened the doors to their new Franklin, WI headquarters to give a few of us a peek at the facility. This manufacturer that specializes in hydraulically powered balers has been around for over 100 years and is also a founding member of the NFPA. We met with Bart Mitchell, the President of the company, as well as Brian Sternberg, the VP of Sales and Marketing. Our conversation covered a number of things ranging from the move to the new location to how business is going, to the usefulness of conferences and trade shows. However, the recurring theme seemed to be the company’s mixture of old with new: new location, new look to marketing collateral and branding, new equipment acquired during the move, all mixed with pieces of the company’s history brought over or rediscovered during the move, some of which date back to the earliest years of the company.
Check back for more road trip news as we do more member visits this year.
