Motion Industries, Inc., a distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, fluid power transmission equipment, electrical power transmission equipment and hose products, announced an agreement to acquire Moss Rubber and Equipment Corporation last month. Moss Rubber and Equipment Corporation specializes in hose and rubber products for petroleum, construction, mining, manufacturing, transportation, and agricultural industries in northern California. Donaldson Company, Inc., a manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, celebrated the grand opening of a new facility in Skarbimierz, Poland last month. The new facility employs 55 people who produce heavy-duty air filters for both the on-road and off-road equipment markets, serving European OEM customers in the agriculture, mining, and transportation industries. The celebration included remarks by Donaldson President and CEO, Tod Carpenter, Donaldson Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa, Wim Vermeersch, and Poland Plant Manager, Leszek Strugala.
