Eaton Corporation announced the appointment of Mary Kim Elkins to Senior Vice President, Taxes. The appointment went into effect at the beginning of this month. She has taken over the responsibilities of John Mitchell, who retired after almost 20 years of leadership in the company’s tax function. Elkins began at Eaton in 2006 as Director, Tax Strategy, in the Fluid Power Group. She has also been Vice President, Operational Tax Strategy as well as Vice President, International Tax Strategy. Richard Fearson, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial and Planning Officer, said of Elkins: “She has extensive experience in all aspects of tax and deep knowledge of Eaton’s businesses. I am excited to have Mary Kim as the new leader of our tax function.” Read the full release here.
