Earlier this month, Mathew W. Happach became the president of Lovejoy, Inc. This came after the announcement that The Timken Company, a company involved in bearings and mechanical power transmission, has acquired Lovejoy. Lovejoy’s CEO, Woodrow Haddix, is serving as the advisor to the president for the transition period. Happach brings extensive experience in OE and distribution sales, marketing, and planning and has held a number of leadership positions at Timken during his 29-year tenure with the company. Danfoss announced earlier this month its intent to acquire full ownership of White Drive Products, Inc. The acquisition will increase the company’s global footprint by combining Danfoss’s strong presence in Europe with White Drive Products’s presence in North America and China. The acquisition is expected to be fully completed during the third quarter 2016. Read the full release here.
