Florida-based Hydraulic Supply Co. recently agreed to acquire Louisiana-based Fabacher Inc., a marine exhaust and fluid handling products company. The acquisition will expand the Hydraulic Supply Co. footprint within the Southeast as well as add metal hose and pipe capabilities to its current product lines.

Motion Industries recently entered into an agreement to acquire Numatic Engineering, a company founded in 1955 that specializes in automation components. Numatic Engineering’s products are often used in robotics, and the product range includes pneumatic automation products, electrical motion controls, PLCs, VFDs, machine vision, and sensors. The company already has a presence in California and Nevada and will be operated as part of Motion’s Automation Solutions group. The acquisition will add to Motion’s existing lineup of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical & industrial automation, hydraulic & industrial hose, hydraulic & pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products, and material handling solutions that serve the food & beverage, pulp & paper, iron & steel, chemical, mining & aggregate, petrochemical, automotive, wood & lumber, and pharmaceutical industries.
