Member News: Acquisitions for FORCE America and Industrial Hard Chrome

NFPA member news is designed to inform members of key industry updates in quick, bite-sized posts that provide only the most important information. This week’s updates come from FORCE America Inc. and Industrial Hard Chrome.

Force America logoFORCE America Inc. announced the acquisition of Atlanta Powertrain & Hydraulics, a company that specializes in components and services for power-takeoffs, pumps, and heavy-duty drivetrain components in the Southeast. The move will help expand FORCE America’s reach in the region while also allowing the company to better provide mobile fluid power to its customers across the country. Just after the acquisition, Atlanta Powertrain moved to a larger facility near its old location, which has allowed the team to expand its services and inventory. Read the full release here.

IndustrialHardChromeIndustrial Hard Chrome acquired Stelmi America late last month. Both companies are NFPA supplier members that serve the industry’s piston rod and hydraulic cylinder needs. Industrial Hard Chrome was founded in 1966. The company is vertically integrated and controls its processes from the initial raw material stage through to the final product. It supplies many American OEMs with chrome-plated steel bars and tubes. Stelmi America was founded in 2002 and produces corrosion-resistant hard chrome-plated steel bars. Read the full release here.
