Airline Hydraulics Corporation has received ISO 9001:2008 certification at its branch location in Pittsburgh, PA.

Alro Steel Corporation has announced several management changes.
David Schmidt has been named President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of January 1, 2014.
Mark Alyea, former President and COO, will assume the role of President Emeritus.
Steve Laten has been named Executive Vice President in addition to his current role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Randy Glick, formerly Vice President of Operations, has been named Senior Vice President.
Al Glick will remain as Chairman and CEO.


Design News, a leading print and online technical resource for the fluid power industry, was honored for 50 years of continuous NFPA membership at the recent NFPA 2014 Annual Conference.  Accepting the award was Al Schmidt, Brand Director.

Marmon/Keystone LLC president J.T. “Tim” Spatafore will retire as of March 31, 2014 according to Alan Wilkinson, president of Marmon Distribution Services, Inc.  Upon Spatafore’s  retirement, Wilkinson will assume oversight of Marmon/Keystone’s more than 30 sales and service centers throughout the United States.

Sun Hydraulics Corporation recently reported un-audited sales for the fourth quarter and year ended December 28, 2013. Sales in the fourth quarter were $49 million, an increase of 13% over the fourth quarter of 2012, which was driven by demand in international markets.  Annual sales for 2013 were $205 million, up slightly from the prior year.
