See what’s new in fluid power at IFPE 2017. In addition to seeing state-of-the-art fluid power technologies in action on the show floor, attendees have multiple opportunities to learn about new developments and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
1. The Energy Efficient Hydraulics and Pneumatics Conference (EEHPC)
Taking place March 8-10, the EEHPC is aimed at professionals who design or maintain fluid power systems. Presenters are fluid power industry leaders and academics who will cover various topics as they relate to energy efficient hydraulics, pneumatics, and the fluture of fluid power technology. Registration is required to attend the conference. Full session passes that cover all three days of the conference are available, as are single day passes. The event is hosted by the International Fluid Power Society, the FPDA Motion and Control Network, and the National Fluid Power Association.
Explore the EEHPC here.
2. College-Level Courses
Taking place March 6-7, the fluid power courses available at IFPE 2017 offer hands-on learning in mobile hydraulics and are aimed at practicing engineers and other professionals involved in design and manufacturing. Registration is required for each of the half-day classes. Topics include Fundamentals of Hydraulic Systems, Hydraulic Fluid Properties, Efficiency and Contamination Control, Hydraulic System Design Strategies for Mobile Applications, and Electrohydraulic Systems Design and Control.
Learn more about the available courses here.
3. The All-New Tech Experience
The all-new Tech Experience at CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2017 will host a number of exhibits showing what’s coming next in the industry, including Project AME, the first fully functional 3D-printed excavator and first large-scale use of steel in 3D printing. Other features include a preview into the intuitive and intelligent equipment of the jobsite of tomorrow, innovations in infrastructure, high-tech workforce training, and tech talks. Admission into the Tech Experience is automatically included in your badge pack.
Find out more about Project AME at the Tech Experience here.
Fluid Power Forum is the podcast that features interesting and innovative applications of fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics), and it’s coming to PACK EXPO International with the latest advanced pneumatic solutions for packaging machines. Pneumatics, a reliable and cost-effective technology for many core actuated functions on these machines, is becoming even more indispensable through its…
