Industry Supporters Pay a Visit to CCEFP Headquarters

Current NFPA Education Foundation Pascal Society silver member and supporter of the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP), Bobcat Doosan, visited research faculty and students at Center headquarters, at the University of Minnesota, on Tuesday, April 21. Gunter Matt, Hydraulics Functional Team Lead, and Tom Sagaser, Vice President of Hydraulics & Systems, of Bobcat Doosan, spent time with Center faculty, staff and students to learn more about the CCEFP and to get an in-depth understanding of the research underway. “Meeting face to face with CCEFP researchers was well worth it,” said Gunter. “I had no idea there were so many great research projects underway. I would encourage any industry supporter to arrange a visit to a CCEFP partner university.”

I had no idea there were so many great research projects underway.

“I echo Gunter’s comments,” says Kim A. Stelson, Professor and Director, CCEFP. “There is no substitute for directly engaging with our industry supporters.”

All existing or prospective industry supporters are welcome and invited to visit any CCEFP university by contacting Mike Gust, CCEFP Industrial Liaison Officer, (612)-624-4956, or Brad Bohlmann, CCEFP Sustainability Director,  (612) 626-1795.
