NFPA Releases New U.S. Fluid Power Industry Brief

A new report, the U.S. Fluid Power Industry Brief, has been published by the National Fluid Power Association. Copies can be downloaded by members and non-members from the following website: https://www.nfpa.com/home/industry-stats/Industry-Brief.htm

The Brief will be replacing NFPA’s Annual Report on the U.S. Fluid Power Industry and will adopt a cadence of release every other year. The purpose of the Brief is to be a tool that members can use to promote the fluid power industry to external stakeholders — customers, users, government officials, the public-at-large — anyone who doesn’t know as much as they should about fluid power and the industry that represents it. The Brief covers information including:

  • Size and growth trends
  • Downstream industry impact
  • Workforce development updates
  • Industry response to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • And more

NFPA President/CEO Eric Lanke is available for custom presentations specific to your company regarding the information in the Brief. Using the data that is summarized in the report, you can request additional information on a variety of topics such as:

  • Workforce and Fluid Power Education/Training
  • Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic U.S. Markets
  • Energy and Efficiency Systems
  • Research and Development
  • Technology Roadmap for the Fluid Power Industry

Reach out to the NFPA team at nfpa@nfpa.com to learn more about this opportunity.

The publication of this Brief demonstrates NFPA’s commitment to expanding the understanding of our industry and continuing the mission to educate colleagues, students, customers and more on why fluid power is the workhorse of the U.S. economy.
