In May, FORCE America helped sponsor the 4th Annual Career Exploration Day for local students from Northfield Public Schools in Minnesota while providing the opportunity for them to learn about different career areas. This year, they combined the career fair with the Career Exploration Day, resulting in more high school participation. Around 650 middle school students and 350 high school students attended the event.
They included breakout sessions for high school students prior to them exploring the booths. The students were able to choose which breakout sessions they wanted to attend based off of six areas of interest:
- Arts & Communication
- Manufacturing & Engineering
- Science & Technology
- Health Sciences
- Human Services
- Business & Entrepreneurship
The fluid power industry was represented by FORCE America’s sizable team, alongside 170 individuals from businesses and post-secondary and local organizations.
