NFPA, building off the success of two IFPE Fluid Power Zones in the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) at Chicago’s McCormick Place, is making plans to host the 2016 IFPE Fluid Power Zone during the week of September 12-17, 2016 . This next year is shaping up to be even more exciting. In 2016 NFPA will feature a “Future of Fluid Power” booth inside the IFPE Fluid Power Zone. Plans are also underway to include a full fluid power industry educational track during the conference.
The IFPE Fluid Power Zone, along with the Motion, Drive & Automation and Industrial Automation, boasted impressive numbers and helped IMTS grow by 13.9% in 2014:
- 194 exhibitors (IMTS total: 2,035)
- 12,000 visitors (IMTS total: 114,147)
- 4,650 sqm (IMTS total: 120,000 sqm)
- 112 countries represented
Designed to be a dedicated fluid power educational program and exhibitor space within MDA North America, the IFPE Fluid Power Zone will showcase new and recently launched fluid power and machine control design technologies. With the addition of the “Future of Fluid Power” booth and fluid power educational track, the IFPE Fluid Power Zone will be the place to be in 2016.
NFPA would like to encourage all members to consider displaying their hydraulic or pneumatic products, technology or services within the IFPE Fluid Power Zone. Special NFPA member discounts are available to exhibitors.
