Underlining the key benefits of NFPA’s Future Leaders Network, the 2020 Annual Conference will offer lots of great opportunities for education and networking, plus some fun!
On Tuesday, February 11, the Future Leaders will convene for a short meeting featuring Jennifer Parmentier, VP and President – Motion Systems Group at Parker Hannifin and member of the NFPA Board of Directors who will share lessons in leadership. The meeting is followed by a casual reception to help everyone get better acquainted.
Next up, on Wednesday, February 12, an optional, fun, team-building and social event is on the schedule. Future Leader attendees have the opportunity for an afternoon of lawn games, appetizers, and conversation.
NFPA’s Future Leaders Network’s goal is to create a community of identified industry leaders or aspiring leaders, 45 years of age or younger, to not only further their careers, but also further their support for the industry and the Association. These qualified individuals can take advantage of a special discounted rate to attend the NFPA 2020 Annual Conference.

This year also marks the launch of the NFPA Executive Leadership Program, which will take place before the conference February 10-11 at the Mandarin Oriental. Created for current and future leaders who want to take their leadership skills to the next level, the program is put on over the course of 18 months in partnership with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
