The NFPA Milwaukee Regional Gathering was successfully launched on September 17 at the Iron Horse Hotel in the Historic 3rd Ward. About 30 fluid power professionals from across the fluid power supply chain descended upon the hotel lobby for an afternoon of networking over light refreshments. The gathering had a happy hour vibe and featured a workforce presentation by Karin Smith, President/CEO, CommUNITY Connections, Inspire Southeast Wisconsin. She explained how Inspire Southeast Wisconsin’s web-based tool is a unique piece of the workforce development puzzle in how it facilitates connections between local employers and students. Like all other NFPA Regional events, the Milwaukee Regional Gathering was free to members and nonmembers. The Milwaukee Regional Gathering is sure to become a regular part of the NFPA events calendar.
Watch for more details about upcoming NFPA Regional Meetings as we announce the dates for our winter and spring events.
