Daman Products Opens Doors for Students

Last year, in collaboration with the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce, Daman Products opened their doors for Manufacturing Day 2016. They are expecting a repeat performance this year, hosting an anticipated 90 students through three facility tours. Students were given a handout that outlined the traits they look for in employees, job opportunities, and an overview of their company and workplace culture.

According to the event website, in addition to the Chamber of Commerce, the 2017 South Bend Region Manufacturing Day event is being organized locally through a partnership that includes several tech schools, local high schools, and businesses. Daman will be one of the 20+ manufacturers that will be contributing the event’s success.

Manufacturing Day℠ is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. To connect with students and educators in your community, contact Stephanie at sscaccianoce@nfpa.com.
