NFPA Company Profiles for NFPA News
Each week we publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Hydreco Hydraulics.
Hydreco Hydraulics, Charlotte, NC, joined NFPA in July 2014. The company has an extensive range of low-noise helical gear, aluminum and cast iron gear pumps. Dual axis, stackable and single axis hydraulic pilot valves are also offered. Hydreco also produces and sells its own range of transport hydraulics that covers power take-offs, pumps, valves and accessories for on-road vehicles. Hydreco also markets a wide range of winches for the offshore and marine industries. The company’s end-use markets broadly encompass agriculture, municipal, construction, mining, and transport. Hydreco Hydraulics has been part of the Clyde Organization since 2008. The company was previously known as Hamworthy Hydraulics and David Brown Hydraulics. Although a fairly new member of NFPA, Hydreco Hydraulics has sent attendees to the IEOC and is supporting the NFPA Education and Technology Foundation by sponsoring the box lunches for the 2015 IEOC Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament.
