On May 28, the University of Minnesota hosted a visit from Arnie Johnson, Chief Technology Officer at L-3 Combat Propulsion Systems. Mr. Johnson, a UMN graduate, met with Prof. Zongxuan Sun, CCEFP Deputy Co-Director, and other CCEFP staff members to discuss potential future research collaboration. L-3 Combat Propulsion Systems is a division of L-3 Communications, a $13B US company that is a prime contractor in aerospace systems and national security solutions. L-3 is also a leading provider of a broad range of communication and electronic systems and products used on military and commercial platforms.
