Call for Proposals Out for Fluid Power Curriculum Development Grant

Faculty from U.S. colleges and universities with undergraduate mechanical engineering programs have been invited to apply for the NFPA Fluid Power Curriculum Grants Program. The application deadline is Friday, June 9, 2017.

The program objectives are to:

  • Create awareness and engage students in fluid power,
  • Engage faculty in the development and teaching of fluid power,
  • Develop, replicate and disseminate high-quality, high-impact university-level fluid power curriculum.

A $25,000 grant will be awarded for the design and development of a fluid power module to be embedded into core engineering curriculum.
