NFPA’s Guide to Networking at the 2018 IEOC

IEOC Networking

The lineup for the upcoming 2018 Industry & Economic Outlook Conference (IEOC) is complete and includes a variety networking opportunities throughout the conference. Often rated as one of the top three items this event offers to attendees, this year we have added new and expanded opportunities to make and nurture business connections.

  • NFPA Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament – This “scramble”-formatted tournament appeals to golfers of all levels and is structured for fun, casual competition. It will be held at Glenview Park Golf Club this year. CLICK HERE to register.
  • IEOC Pre-Conference Networking Breakfast/Presentation (Tuesday) – Let NFPA treat you to breakfast as you get your first of many opportunities to network with industry peers. There will also be a special presentation taking place in the Lake B ballroom where the latest hot topics in our industry will be discussed. Enjoy breakfast while talking with colleagues or listening to solutions to industry issues, the choice is yours.
  • Networking Lunch(s) – Attendees can choose from two networking lunch meeting options this year on Tuesday, August 14:
    • Future Leaders Lunch – Open to NFPA members 45 years of age or younger who are currently on a leadership path, this option features networking and a short presentation.
    • Networking Lunch for All Attendees – Open to all attendees. Network, network, network!
  • Power of Association Networking Reception and Dinner – This annual dinner event has become a conference networking highlight, providing the best possible opportunity to interact with the entire conference delegation. This event will be held on-property at the Westin Chicago North Shore.
  • IEOC Networking Breakfast (Wednesday) – Didn’t get an opportunity to speak to everyone you were hoping to the night before? No problem at all! Enjoy a full selection of breakfast favorites as you get another chance to engage with friends and colleagues to start the day.
  • Event Breaks – While only 15 or 30 minutes long, these breaks offer more than enough times to catch up with colleagues, discuss event content, and enjoy a snack.

Join NFPA in Wheeling, Illinois on August 13-15 at the 2018 IEOC and take advantage of all our activities, speakers, and topics. Connect with 300+ attendees and gain the critical insights you and your company will need to properly plan for the future.
