Scott Industrial Systems recently announced its acquisition of Sun Coast Hydraulic Electric Manufacturing Inc. Sun Coast is based in Jacksonville, Florida and was established in 1993. The company develops and commissions custom-engineered industrial control panels, VFD control systems, industrial PLCs, HMI interface packages, odor control systems, and hydraulic power units. Sun Coast’s president, Tim Sparks, will continue his leadership role for the Florida location. The acquisition will help expand Scott Industrial’s footprint, which currently covers Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Tennessee. It will also expand Scott Industrial’s product and service offering, which currently focuses on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic control systems. Read the full release here.
