Sun Hydraulics recently announced the expansion of its operations in Asia, including new, expanded facilities in South Korea and China. Ground has already been broken on the new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Incheon, South Korea. The new location will support manufacturing, engineering, and sales serving South Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia. The company also recently opened its first joint engineering and sales offices with its subsidiary, Enovation Controls, in Shanghai, China to further support Chinese sales as well as more easily collaborate. Around the same time, Sun Hydraulics also announced the merger of two of its subsidiaries, High Country Tek and Enovation Controls. The merger will go into effect December 31, 2017. After that date, all of High Country Tek’s business will go through Enovation Controls. Until then, High Country Tek will operate from its current location in Nevada City, California.
