Laatzen, Germany-based Aventics Corporation was recently acquired by Emerson, a fluid automation technology and engineering company based in St. Louis. The acquisition is expected to increase Emerson’s global reach in its fluid automation offerings, which currently serve the food and beverage, packaging, automotive assembly, and medical equipment industries. Aventics specializes in pneumatic technologies and has over 2,000 employees globally at five manufacturing locations. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018.
