Speaker’s Bureau Event: Bosch Rexroth at UN-L

Programs like the NFPA Speaker’s Bureau are made possible in part by the generous support of industry volunteers as well as NFPA Education and Technology Foundation and Pascal Society donors. Support these efforts by making a donation.

Dr. Santosh Pitla at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln reached out to NFPA looking for someone to speak to his Hydraulic Power Systems class. Dave Deremer and Johnathan Meyer from Bosch Rexroth flew out to Lincoln to speak with the students and meet with Dr. Pitla. A huge thank you to the team at Bosch Rexroth for bringing real world experience into the classroom.

The NFPA Speaker’s Bureau program brings NFPA members into universities, technical colleges, and high schools to talk about fluid power careers. It is one of the easiest ways to get your company’s name and information in front of potential employees and a great way to expose students to the exciting possibilities that await them if they choose a career in fluid power. The Speaker’s Bureau offers both in-person and virtual opportunities and NFPA can provide a draft presentation to help you prepare.

If you are interested in being added to the list of potential speakers, please contact Mary Pluta at mpluta@nfpa.com.
