NFPA works with a growing number of schools, educators, and students across the country. Through these Education Partnerships, interested parties can stay informed about all the news and events that NFPA offers, including research/education grants and employment opportunities in the fluid power industry. These partnerships are open to any and all faculty, researchers, academic professionals, and students that are involved or interested in fluid power.

Host a Fluid Power Challenge at Your School

The Fluid Power Challenge is a series of math and science competitions designed to connect today’s students to tomorrow’s fluid power careers. Middle school, high school, and college – there is a Challenge for you!

Partner with Local Industry

The Student Career Connections program is designed to facilitate the connection between fluid power companies and local students and simplify the process for both parties. In addition to the students getting hands-on experience with fluid power classroom kits, NFPA also provides participating teachers with fluid power curriculum allowing students to build on the foundation provided on their visit day. NFPA will work with interested teachers and companies to tailor a Career Connections day to custom-fit their needs.

Careers in Fluid Power

There are many rewarding careers available in the fluid power industry. The Careers flyer highlights jobs, descriptions, salaries, markets and other employment information. Hand it out to current and prospective students at career fairs, open houses and student orientations.

Professional Certification

The International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) strengthens and advances professional careers in the fluid power workforce through its work in education, training, and certification.
